The Dry Stone Wall Association of Canada is involved in every aspect of building and preserving traditional dry stone structures. We help design and oversee 'dryscaping' installations of every kind. The dswac also collaborates with property owners to provide information about professional Canadian dry stone wallers in their area, who can be called upon to properly repair and install walls of this kind. In addition, workshops are held throughout the year to give enthusiasts the basic skills for building free-standing dry stone walls, so that they can create their own unique garden features and stone fences. We also can be called upon to do demonstrations and give audio-visual presentations to familiarize the public with this traditional building method. Every Canadian Thanksgiving, in October, in Southern Ontario, we have our annual ROCKtoberfest, called The Northumberland Dry Stone Wall Festival. Check out our new website at www.dswa.ca
