STONEZINE 1 was the first issue of the digital ‘zine. Due to the cost of printing and distributing STONEXUS only one issue per year can be produced. The digital medium however avoids these costs and provides for the use of images (such as those prevalent on the internet) that would be too low in resolution for a print publication. This prototype publication was made available to the general public in July 2013. It was well received, but at 70+ pages was too bulky to be appreciated in full. Shorter editions issued several times a year is a better arrangement and one that provides subscribers with stone-related material throughout the year. CLICK HERE to download STONEZINE #1 |

STONEZINE 2 This issue consists of a single article on the Stone Circles and Brochs of Scotland from Issue #VI of STONEXUS Magazine. There the photos were printed in grayscale; here they appear in glowing color including supplementary material (aerial photos and archaeological findings) not available when Issue #VI was printed in 2006. STONEZINE 2 was also made available in its entirety to the general public. CLICK HERE to download |
